The board of the Bluffton Parks and Recreation Department will meet at 6:30 p.m. this evening, Thursday, Jan. 6, in the meeting room on the first floor of City Hall, 128 E. Market St.

Topics on the agenda include:

• Treasurer’s and superintendent’s reports.

• Activities reports.

• Information that the department was awarded a $1,000 grant from Walmart for the Wells Communit Pool non-reverting funds, that the gazebo at Pickett’s Run has  been finished, and that the bear  statue on the Rivergreenway has been installed.

• Establishiing board positions for 2022.

• Review of the five-year master plan.

• Discussion about the pool and setting pool admission fees for 2022.

• Review baseball and swim league fees.

• Visit the City Gym.

The board is now meeting on Thursdays. The next meeting will be Feb. 3.
