Luella “Lou” Ruth (Oser) Wilson, 96, entered into the doors of Heaven on Oct. 23, 2026. Lou loved the Lord and looked forward to entering the doors of Heaven. She was born on Feb. 18, 1930, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of the late Lloyd Oser and Viola (Peggy) Graft.
Lou enjoyed family get togethers. She truly loved her children and grandchildren and spending time with them. Lou also enjoyed going camping and fishing with her late husband Harold Wilson. She enjoyed walking along the beaches at Edisto Island, South Carolina, at the ocean collecting shark teeth. Lou had a passion for crocheting, gardening, playing card games, helping others and loved Psalm 23.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Lou) Meyer, Ken (Michelle) Bargerhuff, Dennis (Linda) Bargerhuff, Judy (Greg) Parker and Jennifer (Chris) Baldwin; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Billy (Bob) Thomas and Helen Rakestraw.
She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Brenda Moore and Mary Beth Bargerhuff, and sisters, May Lou Hay and Luanne Hensel.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
Burial to follow the service at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
