Melody A. Jackson, 76, of Montpelier, passed away Sept. 4, 2026, at IU Health-Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
She was born June 22, 1950, in Marion.
Surviving are her children, Dawn Jackson and Edward Jackson, both of Akron, Indiana; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathy Padgett and Teresa (Gary) Manning, both of Bluffton, and Ralph Mansbarger of Montpelier.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Mansbarger and Chrystal (Blackburn) Mansbarger; and her son, Ronnie Jackson, Jr.
There will be no services at this time.
Arrangements are being handled by Walker & Glancy Funeral Home in Montpelier.
