Dean Edward Daugherty, 75 of Fort Wayne, died at Parkview Hospital on Sept. 10, 2026, with family at his side.
Dean was born Oct. 16, 1950, in Bluffton, Ind. He graduated from Norwell High School in 1969.
Dean is survived by his two children, Crystal Daugherty and Stephanie (Adrian Dance) Daugherty; five grandchildren, Dalen and Cyann Banks and Adria, Ariah and Adrian Dance Jr., all of Fort Wayne; five siblings, Kay (Bob) Williams of Illinois, Gary (Connie) Daugherty of Ohio, Alan (Gwen) Daugherty of Bluffton, Paul Daugherty of Uniondale and Keith (Jackie) Daugherty of Fort Wayne.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy (Wolf) Daugherty.
Arrangements are entrusted to Advantage Funeral Services – Highland Park at 2403 East Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46825.
A public viewing will be held on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
No formal funeral service will be held at this time. A private burial and celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
