Brittany Dawn Nicole Messina Fores passed into the arm of Jesus on Sept. 8, 2026.
Born April 10, 1991, in Springfield, Missouri, to Wannettie Berry and James Messina, she attended Salem High School and later earned her GED. Brittany married Coty Jacob Flores on April 7, 2019. They were blessed with four children, McKenzy Joanna, Madison Kay, Mason Jacob and Oaklynn Jaymes.
While living in Bluffton, Indiana, Brittany was employed as a housekeeper and waitress. She was greatly appreciated by her customers at the pancake house and Millie’s Restaurant. She was a very energetic and kind-hearted woman known for her generous spirit and attention to detail.
Brittany’s faith was an important part of her life and she loved reading the Bible. One of her favorite passages was Probers 3:15-18.
She is survived by her husband, Coty, and their children; father, James (Abigail) Messina; mother, Wannettie Berry; siblings, James, Jesse, Sethe, Nicholas, Kayden, J.J., Jojo, Aurora and Courtney; and many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
Brittany was preceded in death by her brother, Jeremy Berry; niece, Kaylee Berry; uncles, Anthony and Pauley; and grandmother, Sandy.
A time of rememberance will be held at Millie’s Restaurant, 1-3 p.m. Oct. 17.
