Sherry E. Love, 83, of Montpelier, passed away on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
She was born on June 15, 1942, in Pennville. Sherry married the love of her life, Myron D. Love, on Nov. 22, 1962; he preceded her in death on July 16, 2025.
Sherry is survived by her daughters, Leslie (Dwight) Brewer of Montpelier and Jodi (Paul) Catterson of Montpelier; brothers, Larry Taylor of Poneto, Terry (Carol) Taylor of Hartford City and Mark (Suzanne) Taylor of Montpelier; sister, Nancy Pryor of Hartford City; grandchildren, Brett Stevens, Brandi Wheeler, Brittani Hendel, Zach Guntle, Matthew Brewer, Wesley Brewer, Kyra Catterson, Josie Abraham and Brinna Catterson; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Myron D. Love; daughters, Connie (Love) Guntle and Beverly (Love) Trees; parents, Burl and Mary (Roush) Taylor; sister, Susan Bothast; and brothers, George “Ricky” Taylor, Ray Taylor and David Taylor.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan, 11, 2026 at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier.
A service to celebrate Sherry’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026 with Pastor Jesse Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
