Norwell adds four members to NE8 volleybal awards
Norwell picked up four all-conference honors in volleyball released by the Northeast 8 Sunday night.
Emma Vachon made it as a first-team member, while Macie Saalfrank and Vanessa Rosswurm were second-team selections. Autumn Lee was an honorable mention.
The Knights finished 3-4 in the conference, with Bellmont taking the conference crown at a perfect 7-0.
Knights fall to Eagles in junior varsity football
The Norwell junior varsity football team was defeated 33-8 at Columbia City on Saturday.
Lance Meriwether had the touchdown for the Knights on a pass to Palmer Krug for 20 yards. Meriwether later scored on the two-point try.
On the defense, Ben Peterson picked up a fumble.
