At the conclusion of the Wells County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program the statistics show that 612 adults read a total of 1,531,262 pages during June and July.

Of those who began the read 64.5% (or 395) read at least 500 pages. Three hundred forty-two read at least 1000 pages and were eligible for the grand prize drawing of Once a month Pizzas for a year. 

At least 2000 pages were read by 264 persons (42.1%. Challenge Sheets were completed by 15.2% (93 persons).

The total of pages read surpassed the 1,514,704 read in 2023 by 609 readers. The number of readers participating in the program has increased every year since the summer program began in 2011, when 434 registered and 323 completed the read.
