Norwell fell for the first time this boys’ tennis season with a 4-1 loss to Blackhawk on the road on Friday.

The Knights’ record is now 4-1 on the season.

Individual results:

• Sam Donnelly (B) defeated Gavin Reynolds 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.

• Caleb York (B) defeated Braylon Troutt 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.

• Landon Diver (N) defeated Conner Treesh 4-6, 6-4, 11-9 at No. 3 singles. 

• Bryce Sefton and Luke Mansfield (B) defeated Eddie Archbold and Ayden Quintanilla 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.

• Owen Saleik and Drake Sefton (B) defeated Rylan Heyerly and Ethan Williamson 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Norwell fell 6-1 on junior varsity as well.

• Jasper Kreigh and Greyson Chavis (N) defeated Ryan Dykstra 8-6.

• Quinton Richard (B) defeated Dylan Randol 8-0.

• Grayson Nigg (B) defeated Levi White 8-6.

• Duke Faupel (B) defeated Brady Watkins 8-0.

• John Dykstra (B) defeated Carter DeWeese 8-1.

• Ryan Dykstra and Adam Albrecht (B) defeated Christian Werling 8-6.

• Rem Zehr and Austin Greenwalt (B) defeated Jensen Miller and Braden Hoag 8-4.

Norwell will host Carroll at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3.
