As of July 1, Ossian Rotary has a new president. Matthew Gullion currently serves as the pastor of First Baptist Church in Ossian. Gullion has served the church since 2018. Previously Gullion served in many areas of ministry, including director of Northeastern Indiana Baptist Association of Churches, midwest director of Southern Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders, pastor and founder of Harvest Baptist Church, pastor of Salyersville First Baptist Church, CEO and Founder of REACH Drug Rehab Ministries, and CEO and Founder of Great Commission Ministries.
Gullion has led hundreds of people on mission trips in the United States and all over the world for many years. He has developed an ongoing partnership with churches in Cuba for nearly a decade and has led many people and churches to serve and partner with local Cuban churches.
Gullion has preached, taught, coached, consulted, led conferences and offered motivational speaking in hundreds of churches, companies, conferences and schools in ministry in the United States and many other countries.
Gullion, wife Ruth and two of three daughters live on a farm near Uniondale.
Gullion has enjoyed over 25 years of ministry. He has also had many opportunities to serve in ministry in secular workplaces. He has worked as a draftsman, mechanical engineer, plant manager, construction, contractor and helped with dozens of church building projects nationwide.
Gullion has one main desire and that is for men, women, boys and girls to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
