BIDS FOR SOLID WASTE 

COLLECTION AND 

RECYCLING IN THE TOWN 

OF MARKLE, INDIANA

Notice is hereby given by the Town Council of the Town of Markle, Indiana (“Council”), that sealed bids will be received in the Town Hall located at 154 E. Morse Street, Markle, Indiana 46770, on the 15th day of May 2024, at 7:00 p.m., local time, for solid waste collection and recycling to commence June 1, 2024. Timely bid delivery is the responsibility of bidder; bids received late will be returned unopened.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with a notation clearly indicating that the envelope contains a sealed bid for the solid waste and recycling contract and the name of the bidder. Bid packets, with instructions and bid forms, are available in the Markle Town Hall, contact Stephenie Hensley, Clerk-Treasurer, 154 E. Morse Street, P.O. Box 367, Markle, Indiana 46770, 260-758-3193, clerk@townofmarkle.in.gov. Bids shall be firm for thirty (30) days following opening.

Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in any bid, and to make an award of contract in any manner, all consistent with applicable law, as determined by Council to be in the best interests of the Town of Markle.
