Best of Show to Elizabeth Wheeler

On Sunday, the Tri Kappa High School Art Show opened at the Wells County Commerce & Visitors Centre. A ceramic project by Bluffton High School senior Elizabeth (Ella) Wheeler took Best of Show honors.

The spring showcase for high school artists, sponsored by the members of Beta Phi chapter of Tri Kappa, has been a yearly event since 1966. In the early years the site of the exhibit would rotate between the three Wells County high schools. It will be on view through May 4, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Others taking awards in one or more of the 10 categories include:

First place ribbons in both Non-portrait and Portrait Photography were awarded to Bluffton High student Keturah Bradford. She also took first places in wheel thrown ceramics and open category.
