The Norwell baseball team fell 10-2 in its first loss of the season against Edgewood Saturday.
The Knights fell to 2-1 on the opening weekend after defeating No. 6 in 2A Brownstown Central and Evansville Christian on Friday.
Norwell scrapped for only three hits in the contest — two were solo home runs by Collin Burns and Logan Cotton in the fifth and sixth innings. Korben Neuenschwander had a base hit.
Edgewood plated 10 runs on five hits and walked nine times.
Noah Schamerloh was the losing pitcher for Norwell.
The Knights will visit South Adams at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3.
