The unsolved murder of Fred Haag in October of 1909, at his meat market at 423 West South St. in Bluffton, was investigated at the first Bluffton Park Department’s Senior Snippets class at the Wells County Historical Museum on April 17. Program presenters were Connie Brubaker, at right, and her granddaughter Samantha Acosta, at left, as they told of Acosta’s investigation into the event.
