Bluffton-Harrison won three out of four at Northfield in middle school basketball Thursday night.
The eighth grade boys won 34-20 and improved to 9-6 on the season. Gavin Grieser was the top-scorer with 13 points, followed by Rafe Gerber (8), Dawson Lee and Bennett Stoller (3), Gibby Grieser, Parker Banres and Cooper Jenkins (2) and Reid Abbett (1).
The eighth grade girls’ team lost 24-22. Kamryn Ault led the way with seven points, followed by Grace Fry and Khloe Dick (6), Cora Kunkel (2) and Ava Trexler (1).
The seventh grade boys won 37-26 and improved to a perfect 15-0 record. Chase Kistler led the Tigers with 19 points and 11 rebounds, Maddox White and Vince Lambert (5), Kamdyn Shuman, Parker Christal, Pierce Renner and Wyatt Holmes (2).
The seventh grade girls won in overtime 37-32. Audrey Mechling and Averie Patton led the team with 10 points each, followed by Josie Nash (8), Madeline Morgan (5) and Gracie Jellison (4).
