Is it really December? Where did the year go?

There are still lots of happenings going on in the Zanesville area that you may want to know about so here is a list:

Coffee Cafe at the Zanesville Church of God weekday mornings from 7:30 to 10 a.m.

All of December the Living Lights at Tower Life Center Church.

Wonderland of Lights at Ouabache State Park all of December.

Zanesville Lions light judging and community Christmas party Dec. 18.

Zanesville Town Council meeting Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 6:30 p.m.

Zanesville Lions still have available apple dumplings and wreaths to sell to fund the cash prizes for the lighting contest.

For more information on any of these happenings call me at 260-638-4327. There is an answering machine there and if I am not at home I will call you back as soon as I get there.

If you called me just before Thanksgiving for 16 apple dumplings I have tried the number that you left and have not been able to get hold of you. If you still need them call again.

We currently have 19 members of the Zanesville Lions Club. We need more to carry on this work so if you are interested in becoming a member let me know or come to a meeting. Meetings are once a month and are held at the clubhouse on the second Monday. A light supper is served and then we usually have a program along with business.

Our condolences to the family, friends and classmates of Robert Hammer who passed away on Nov. 13 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Robert was 83 at the time of his death and was a member of the 1960 graduating class of Lafayette Central High School.
