(In reference to the Letter to the Editor in Tuesday’s edition:)
I actually enjoy reading the Police Notebook’s light-hearted comments. There is so much distressing news that we hear daily; I think it is fine to add a little humor to incidents that call for it.
Our police officers have to deal often with some serious situations like drugs, domestic abuse, or even death, but some of the calls they have to respond to are rather funny.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our police officers for protecting our community and assisting people in need.
