The Bluffton middle school football teams both defeated Adams Central Tuesday night to finish the season undefeated.
With a 19-8 win over the Jets, the Tigers went 8-0 on the season and won the ACAC championship.
Gavin Grieser led the passing game going 6-8 through the air with 119 yards and a touchdown.
Barker Barnes led the rushing attack with 105 yards on nine attempts for 101 yards and a touchdown. Dawson Lee had 98 yards and a touchdown.
Barnes also led the receivers with 90 yards on three catches. Bennett Stoller had one catch for a 15-yard score, and Rafe Gerber had one catch for 12 yards.
On the defensive side, Barnes led the way with five solo tackles. Lee had four solo and one assist, Gerber had three solo, Conner Byrd two solo 1 assist, Grieser two solo, Jace Campbell one solo three assists, and Gibby Grieser one solo one assist.
The seventh-grade team defeated Adams Central 41-0, ending the year with a 6-0 record. There are not enough schools to hold a conference champion.
Ethan Ribich led the passing game, going 3-5 for 37 yards and a touchdown. Parker Christal went 2-4 for 31 yards and a touchdown.
Chase Kistler led the rushing attack with 185 yards on seven attempts and three touchdowns. Maddox White had 55 yards.
White led the receiving group with 65 yards on three catches and a touchdown.
Cameron Simpson recovered a fumble for 48 yards and a touchdown.
Ribich made a 21-yard field goal.
On the defensive side, Cooper Affolder had five solo tackles and one assist. Simpson had three solo and one assist, Wyatt Holmes had two solo, and Kistler one solo and one assist.
