Southern Wells came out in full force Friday night for their homecoming game against Wes-Del, filling bleachers with fans and even more standing along the sidelines. Pictured above are homecoming king Perrin Gates and queen Ella Lahr, crowned during the game’s halftime. The school also honored Steve Boxell (pictured middle left, between Josh Heim and Tricia Tucker) as 2023 Distinguished Citizen.
Boxell has been a custodian at the district for 23 years and will retire at the end of the year. Below, the cheerleaders lead fans in a chant.
