Wendy S. Myers, 54, resident of Bluffton, passed away Saturday evening, July 15, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Wendy was born in Ft. Wayne April 15, 1969, to Steven B. Smethers and Jean Irene (Ferris) Myers.
She was a 1987 graduate of Paul Harding High School and attended business school for accounting. Wendy was employed with Summit Bank in Ft. Wayne as a check coder for several years. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family.
She is survived by her mother; one son, Brandon M. Myers of Ft. Wayne; two sisters, Michelle A. Roeback of Ft. Wayne and Sherri Darling of Knoxville, Tenn.; a brother, Rick Myers of Bluffton; companion, William Conrad of Bluffton; seven nieces and nephews: Bradley L. Roeback, Cierrah D. (Austin) Walden, Reiss N. Myers, Xander M. Myers, Rylan K. Myers, Kensley R. Myers, Braelyn I. Myers, and one great-niece, Sawyer L. Walden.
Wendy was preceded in death by her father Steven B. Smethers.
In accordance with Wendy’s wishes, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
