Peggy Sue Graft, 73, of Bluffton, passed away Friday afternoon, July 14, 2023, at Christian Care Retirement Community. 

She was born June 27, 1950, in Fort Wayne, to Donald & Betty (Hall) Nyffeler. A 1968 graduate of Norwell High School, Peggy worked at the City of Bluffton Utilities Office, Almco Steel Products, and retired in 2015, as the property manager for Bluffton Senior Villa’s. She was an active member of the local Red Hat Society.

On March 19, 1971, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Peggy and Leonard Graft were married.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Graft of Bluffton; and two children, Eric (Nikki) Graft of Bluffton and Andrea (Jay) Garrett of Markle. She was a loving grandma to 7 grandchildren: Teyler (Blake) Benton, Kaden Graft, Emerson Graft, Ryland Graft, Tessa Garrett, Cohen Garrett, and Libby Garrett.

Peggy is also survived by a brother, Dean (Medelaine) Nyffeler of Utah and a sister, Beth (Randy) Merriman of Decatur.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton with Barry Crosbie officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the funeral service.

Burial will take place at a later date at the New Castle Columbarium located at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Peggy’s memory to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
