Norwell school board will meet Monday
The board of the Norwell Community Schools will meet in a special session at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, at the school district’s central office, 312 N. Jefferson St. in Ossian.
The purpose of the meeting will be to hold a public hearing on a general obligation bond project. During the meeting, the board will discuss the scope and cost of the project and receive comment from the public.
According to the agenda, the board is scheduled to vote on whether it wants to go forward with the project.
Bluffton Board of Works to meet Tuesday afternoon
The Bluffton Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, in the council chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 128 E. Market St.
Topics on the agenda include:
• Consideration of a nuisance animal.
• An update on city engineering projects.
• Consideration of replacing security cameras.
• Consideration of a dispatch/GIS contract.
• Personnel matters, brought to the board by Dick Green, superintendent of the Electric Department; Mayor John Whicker; and Fire Chief Don Craig.
Public Service Advisory Board to meet Wednesday
The Public Service Answering Point Advisory Board will meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, in Room 105, the multi-purpose room of the Wells Carnie Government Annex.
Topics on the agenda include the director’s report and a review of the purposed 2024 City of Bluffton Public Safety budget.
