A self portrait drawing secures ‘best of show’ honors for Elsie Schaden at high school art show

A black and white self portrait drawing by Bluffton High School student Elsie Schaden took Best of Show honors Sunday at the open house for the Ti Kappa High School Arts Show at the Wells County Commerce and Economic Development Center in Bluffton.
Winners were announced in 10 categories and will be on view through Friday, May 5.

The Tri Kappas provided the cash prizes for the event with best of show receiving $50, 1st place: $25; 2nd place: $20 and 3rd: $15.
Jackie Cheney and Jolin Whicker, members of the Beta Phi chapter of Tri Kappa, were co-chairmen of the committee that hosted the open house for the student artists on Sunday afternoon.
