The Southern Wells baseball team fell 8-1 to No. 6 Wes-Del in the first round of the 1A sectional at Anderson Prep Wednesday.
The Raiders finished the season 5-18.
Senior Jenson Nusbaumer was the lone Raider to have a hit, in which he had two for Southern Wells, including a double.
Cody Perdue took the loss, throwing 5 1/3 innings with four earned runs and four strikeouts. Kedrik Sonnigsen also allowed four earned runs in relief. Each pitcher walked one.
