NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Bluffton, Indiana has filed a Petition with the Common Council of the City of Bluffton, Indiana requesting the adoption of an ordinance partially vacating a platted easement located in the City of Bluffton, Indiana. The easement sought to be vacated is in Tribolet & Dougherty, Second Addition, BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF TRIBOLET & DOUGHERTY’S SECOND ADDITION; THENCE NORTH, 684.58 FEET ALONG THE WEST LINE OF A 15 FOOT WIDE ALLEY; THENCE EAST 165 FEET ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF A 15 FOOT WIDE ALLEY TO THE WEST LlNE OF BETH STREET; THENCE. SOUTH 15 FEET ALONG SAID WEST LINE TO THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF LOT NUMBER 61; THENCE WEST 150 FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 61; THENCE SOUTH 300 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT NUMBER 66; THENCE EAST 150 FEET TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT NUMBER 66; THENCE SOUTH 50 FEET TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT NUMBER 67; THENCE WEST 150 FEET TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 67; THENCE SOUTH 300 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT NUMBER 72; THENCE EAST 150 FEET TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT NUMBER 72; THENCE SOUTH 17.17 FEET ALONG THE SOUTHERLY EXTENSION OF THE WEST LINE OF BETH STREET TO THE SOUTH LINE OF POLK STREET; THENCE WEST 165 FEET ALONG SAID SOUTH LINE TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING. The Petition may be examined in the office of the Clerk – Treasurer to the City of Bluffton, Indiana, located at 128 East Market Street, Bluffton, Indiana.
Notice is further given that the Common Council of the City of Bluffton, Indiana will hold a public hearing on this Petition at 6:00 PM on the 6th day of June, 2023, at its regular meeting place in the Common Council Chambers located at 128 East Market Street, Bluffton, Indiana; at which time all those desiring to be heard in support of or opposition to this Petition will be given the opportunity to be heard and at which time said Petition will either be granted or denied and any further action thereon as required and appropriate will also be taken.
