LEGAL NOTICE
The Town of Markle has been pursuing an update to their comprehensive plan. A draft of the updated plan is available by contacting the Clerk-Treasurer at the Town Hall at (260) 758-3193 or by going to www.region3a.org. The Town now wishes to solicit feedback from residents on the proposed update.
The Town of Markle will hold a public hearing on May 17, 2023 , at 7:00 PM at the Markle Town Hall, located at 197 E Morse St, Markle, IN 46770, to provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views on the proposed comprehensive plan update. Persons with disabilities, or non-English speaking persons who wish to attend the public hearing and need assistance, should contact Stephanie Hensley, Clerk-Treasurer at (260) 758-3193 no later than May 12, 2023. Every effort will be made to make reasonable accommodations for these persons.
Information related to this project will be available for review prior to the public hearing as of May 8, 2023, at the Town Hall, 197 E Morse St, Markle, IN 46770 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Interested citizens are encouraged to attend the public hearing to provide feedback. Anyone that cannot provide feedback in person may do so by submitting written feedback via mail. Written comments should be submitted to Matt Brinkman, Region III-A, 217 Fairview Blvd, Kendallville, IN 46755, no later than May 16, 2023, for comments to be considered for the final version of the plan.
