Preceding their regular meeting, the Northern Wells school board had the opportunity to walk through the construction. During that time, Dylan Markley of Weigand Construction said that the project has been progressing smoothly and is currently on schedule.

Markley stated the crews have completed work on load-bearing masonry walls on the first and second floor, metal stud wall framing, exterior metal stud wall framing, and the east unit stairs, among other projects. Additionally, crews have taken down the exterior wall south of the media center and the mechanical room’s exterior wall.
