Ossian council will meet in executive session Tuesday
The Ossian Town Council will meet in executive session at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Collier’s, 215 N. Jefferson St. in Ossian.
During the meeting, which will be closed to the public, the council will receive information about and interview prospective employees.
Bluffton Board of Works to meet Tuesday afternoon
The Bluffton Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 128 E. Market St.

Northern Wells school board will meet Tuesday
The board of the Northern Wells Community Schools will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Norwell High School, 1100E. U.S. 224.
Topics on the agenda include:
• Personnel matters — One resignation and six hiring recommendations
• Acceptance of donations.
• Consideration of a recommendation to retire remaining NEOLA board polices.
• Consideration of a recommendation to approve several ISBA policies and a recommendation to rename two other policies.
• Superintendent’s report regarding Norwell Middle School projects.
