It’s been another beautiful Holiday Season! Even though everyone was so busy getting ready for Christmas, the faithful people of our community took the time to give to the families who have been afflicted with sickness, unemployment or other less fortunate circumstances. The commandment “Love thy neighbor as thyself” was certainly shown through many of our local churches, schools, organizations, individuals, clubs, factories, businesses, volunteers and the $15,000 donor, all giving so much to make Christmas happier for so many unfortunate families.

Our donations well surpassed the match of $15,000, such a blessing! We also had boxes and boxes of food, clothing, toys and other miscellaneous gift items. Some of our local sewing groups made wonderful knotted comforters which is a very special item to give to some of our families. Another great tribute was students of our local community schools planning all sorts of activities to collect for food, gloves, socks, shampoo, toothpaste and other miscellaneous items. We are so blessed to live in such a loving and caring community. The most beautiful part is the satisfaction we all have in helping one another!

Through the generous giving of so many, we were able to help 201 families or 458 individuals in December. We always knew we lived in a very Special community, however this year has been such a blessing for those giving and to those receiving! The Love shown from one to another has been so precious!

We Thank all of you for your generosity, love, prayers, volunteer help and most of all, your support for another great year! May God Bless each of you for caring so much.
