D’Wayne Eskridge, a wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League, was back in Bluffton Saturday signing autographs at a fundraising event. Eskridge was in the Brown Suga multicultural beauty supply store, 213 W. Market St., which is owned by his aunt and uncle, Alena and Shawn Eskridge. Alena Eskridge said proceeds from the event were donated to the 4-H Backpack Program, which provides food for hungry children, and The Garage, the youth program at the corner of Wabash and Main streets. Among those who stopped in Saturday was Sierra Casterline, Eskridge’s cousin, and her husband Jorden and their 1-year-old son Westin. Eskridge is currently sidelined with a broken hand.
