Bluffton’s girls’ basketball team defeated Southern Wells 43-29 in a Wells County showdown Saturday night. The Tigers (4-2) are now 1-1 in the ACAC, while the Raiders (4-5) dropped their first conference game of the season.

Bluffton’s scoring leaders were Haley Gibson and Konley Ault with 11 points each, Isabella Stout (8), Tressa Renner with (5), Marly Drayer (4), and Maryn Schreiber (4).

In the junior varsity game, the Tigers beat Southern Wells 19-17. Leading on the scoresheet for Bluffton was Shak Eskridge with 10, Savanna Hughett (4), Rylynn Penick (2), Cayah King (2), and Eve Corkwell with (1). 

Bluffton’s next game will be on the road at Wabash starting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6.

Southern Wells will host Blackhawk at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6.
