The 2023 women’s Silver Anniversary Team was announced on Tuesday by the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and 1998 Bluffton High School graduate Abby Salscheider Ault was selected.
The Anniversary Team is a collection of 18 former women’s basketball players from 25 years ago that were either on the Indiana All-Star team and/or All-State honors.
Ault was a 1998 award winner for the following Indiana All-Star, Team MVP, first-team all-ACAC, News-Sentinel first-team All-Area and Player of the year, WPTA-21 Player of the Year, IHSAA Class 2A Mental Attitude award winner, AP second-team All-State, along with other awards that year.
Ault went on to play at Michigan State University, where she was named on the 1999 Big Ten All-Star Tour, 2000 most improved on the team, All-Academic team, MSU Scholar-Athlete award, 2001 team captain, Big Ten all-academic, and CNC Scholar-Athlete Award.
The 2023 Women’s Silver Team members are being honored at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s Award Banquet on Saturday, April 29, 2023.
