A check for $250, presented by the Bluffton Associate chapter of Tri Kappa in memory of former member Phyllis Shady, will allow the Mentor Moms program at Family Centered Services to fund books for the program. The award was made possible as the Clyde Shady family presented the funds to the Tri Kappas to in turn support community projects as a memorial for Phyllis. Making the check presentation at Family Centered Services were left to right Kent Shady, Phyllis’ son; Beth Lampton, Tri Kappa member; Rhonda Jennings, Mentor Moms director; and Deb Brown, Associate Tri Kappa president.
