INCIDENTS

Thursday, 4:42 p.m., residence in the 800 block of Melody Lane, Bluffton Woods mobile home park. Parole officer requested officers to assist in a parole search at the residence. Drugs were reportedly found on a person at the residence who was not supposed to be there. Information taken for a report.
Thursday, 5:09 p.m., Praxis substance abuse treatment facility. Male patient advised that a female stole possessions from him.
Thursday, 6:57 p.m., South Street at Scott Street. Report of several juveniles jumping onto a vehicle. Officer responded and spoke with the youth who denied the activity. The officer told the juveniles to leave the area and not touch things that don’t belong to them.
Thursday, 8:29 p.m., apartment at Pine Grove. Caller reported hearing what sounded like someone being beaten. Officers responded and spoke with a female in the apartment where the caller heard the sound coming from. She was alone in the apartment with her children and there had been no altercation.
Friday, 6:33 a.m., Williams Street at Wabash Street. Caller reported an oncoming vehicle ran him off the road. He hit the curb and popped a tire on his vehicle.

Thursday, 8:39 p.m., residence on 200W north of 1100N. Suspicious pickup truck cruising past the house several times. Deputy dispatched and checked the area but did not see a vehicle matching the description.
ACCIDENTS

Thursday, 2:03 p.m., Main Street at Charles Deam Court. Valerie L. Leman, 64, rural Craigville, was driving a 2010 Toyota Sienna van north on Main Street. She glanced at her phone, looked up and ran into the back of a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck driven by Sherry L. Berry, 52, Liberty Center. Neither driver was injured. Damage exceeded $10,000

Thursday, 7:28 p.m., Ind. 1 south of 200S. Patricia A. Biddle, 58, Ossian, hit a deer with her 2010 Chevrolet Malibu. Damage to the car exceeded $5,000.
FIRES
Thursday, 9:34 p.m., 6058 N. Main St., Tocsin. Smell of natural gas in the residence. Ossian Fire Department dispatched. Source of smell traced to a small leak and the gas was turned of until a repairman could arrive and affect repairs.
ARRESTS
Phillip Allen Ruhr, 29, rural Decatur; probation violation. No bond set.
Andrea D. Rambo, 22, Bluffton; theft, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $12,000.
Jon Michael Hollingsworth, 60, Bluffton; invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $25,000.
