When Ossian Revitalization President Kody Kumfer took the microphone to present the Ossian Revitalization Business of the Year Award Thursday night, Greg Thornton of Rethceif Packaging thought the business Kumfer at first was describing sounded familiar. But as Kumfer continued both Honegger and Greg Thornton realized it was Rethceif.
“This means a lot,” Thornton said after accepting the award with Honegger. “We’re really thankful to be a part of this community.”
Rethceif was started in 2005 by Tim and Vicki Fiechter (Rethceif is Fiechter spelled backward). The company moved to the Ossian Industrial Park in 2008 and have continued to expand since. The company lists itself as a world class provider of compression, baling and free flow packaging solutions.
