Norwell and Bluffton both competed at the girls’ golf sectional Saturday morning and finished in the top three, qualifying for next week’s regional championships at Noble Hawk Golf Links.

Homestead ended up winning the event with a score of 309, while Norwell finished second (396) and Bluffton third (401).

The top scorers for the Lady Knights were Anna Dodane, who shot an 85, Emilyn Heaston (102), Emma Dodane (103), Hayden Double (106), and Ellie Gatton (109).

For Bluffton, Lily King led the way with a score of 92, Emma Schwartz (97), Kennedy Nash (102), Eve Corkwell (110), and Tressa Renner (116).

The regional will start at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept 24, with no official tee time for the two schools yet.
