Tee times announced for girls’ golf regional
The tee times for the girls’ golf regional championships at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville, IN. on Friday morning.
Bluffton will begin on hole 10 at 9:10 a.m. Norwell and Southern Wells will begin at hole 10 at 9:50 p.m.
To advance to the state finals, a team must finish top-three in the event. There are 15 schools at the regional.
Lady Knights score five with win over Heritage
The Norwell girls’ soccer team took a road trip to Heritage Wednesday night and won 5-0. The win improved to 7-6 on the season.
Addy Archbold scored twice, giving her 10 goals on the season. Grace Mann also added two goals to her team-leading 17 on the season while also putting up two assists. Karrigan Melcher scored one on the night. Gracie Rickenberger earned the shutout in net.
The Lady Knights will take the first next at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 27, at Huntington North starting with JV with varsity to follow.
Tigers, Knights tennis rained out
The Norwell at Bluffton tennis match will have to wait a few more days after postponing for a second time due to rain. The match is scheduled for Friday, with a time yet to be determined.
