Kyler Morris pushes Norwell soccer to win vs. NE8 opponent East Noble
The Norwell boys’ soccer team took a 2-1 victory in conference play Monday night over East Noble. The NE8 win evens its conference record at 2-2.
The two goals came from the Knights’ sophomore Kyler Morris, scoring one goal in each half. In net, Noah Fromm saved six shots.
In the JV game, Norwell won 1-0.
Scoring the lone goal on the night was Zane Borne. Jacob Morgan earned the shutout in the net for the Knights.
The team will host Concordia beginning with JV at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 14.
Lady Knight’s soccer defeats Northeast 8 foe East Noble
The Norwell girls’ soccer team won their conference match over East Noble 2-0 Monday night.
Grace Mann scored the two goals for the Knights. Both of the scorers were in the second half. Gracie Rinkenberger earned the shutout in net.
The JV team also won their match 2-0. The goals were scored by Aubrey Meyer and Hallie Smith.
Abby Wagner earned the shutout in net.
The team will be in action at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 13, against Eastbrook in a varsity-only match.
Norwell volleyball falls to Eastbrook
The Lady Knights volleyball team hosted Eastbrook for a non-conference matchup with the Panthers. Easbrook won the game in four sets 3-1.
Norwell falls to an even 8-8 on the season.
The team will host Marion at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 13 against Marion.
