Ossian Rotary has elected Jeff Keplar as its president for the Rotary year 2022 –2023, which began July 1.
Keplar attended Rotary’s President-Elect Training Seminar, Rotary Leadership Institute, Rotary Global Grants Seminars Training and the Rotary International Convention in Atlanta. He is a charter member of Ossian Rotary, was previously on the board of directors of Anthony Wayne Rotary Club in Fort Wayne and has attended a myriad of Rotary conferences and clubs across the country.
Keplar and wife Carol have lived in the Ossian community for 15 years. They have six children and 12 grandchildren. They have been members of Emmanuel Community Church in Fort Wayne for over 25 years. For 30 years, Keplar served on the board of the Fox Island Alliance, a volunteer group working with Fox Island County Park near Fort Wayne.
Keplar is a graduate of Taylor University in Upland, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology/systems analysis. He recently retired after a long career in communications, including marketing and public relations, as well as the last ten years as an electronic medical records trainer for doctors and nurses in hospitals across the country.
