The OPS Indiana Bandits 16-and-under baseball team based out of Bluffton took on some of the top competition in the country at the Cincy Flames National Championship Summer Classic and finished in the top eight. The tournament featured the top 32 teams in the United States, and the Bandits advanced all the way to the gold bracket quarterfinals before being eliminated by the Colorado Bombers. The Bandits did manage to defeat the No. 1 seed in the bracket and finished 3-2 overall.
