Council hears update on town’s feasibility study

The Town of Markle has received a “partial draft” of a feasibility study that will look at the town’s needs for the next 20 years.

Assistant Superintendent Mike Grant told the council Wednesday that it is broken into five-year increments.

The town, he said, is seeing growth and could continue to see more growth. The town will have to determine how its infrastructure will facilitate further growth.

Meanwhile, there will be costly projects that need funded, he said, and avenues for that funding determined.
