Thursday, 4:35 p.m., west Market Street at north Johnson Street. Civil issues. Officer advised the issue would need to be settled in court.
Thursday, 6:39 p.m., 990N Main Street. Report of man threatening with knives.
Thursday, 8:42 p.m., south Union Street. Verbal altercation between two men.
Thursday, 10:01 p.m., east Central Avenue. Woman reported her daughter sneaking out the night prior.
Thursday, 11:01 p.m., west Market Street Woman reported her daughter and other family members are receiving threatening text messages from an adult woman. Officer advised to block the woman on Facebook.
Friday, 5:21 a.m., Airplane Express and Service Station. Man trespassing on premises, making threats and refusing to leave. Officer warned the man for trespassing.

Friday, 1:47 a.m., north Main Street at east Monroe Street, Bluffton. Vehicle driving erratically and pulled over by deputy. Faylynn Crystal Virginia Stein, 20, Ossian tested positively for marijuana. Stein arrested for operating a vehicle without every obtaining a license, a Class C misdemeanor; operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, a Class C misdemeanor; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $2,500.
Friday, 2:18 a.m., 4420N 450E, Craigville. Deputy attempted to pull over a vehicle swerving in the roadway and called for back-up when the driver did not stop. Vehicle eventually pulled over and deputies arrested driver Douglas Ray Painter, 56, Bluffton, on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, a Class A misdemeanor. Painter was also cited for driving with a suspended license. Bond set at $1,500.
Friday, 6:24 a.m., 200W at 800S, Keystone. Deputy pulled over vehicle for driving left of center and vehicle showed signs of criminal activity. Driver consented to a search and a marijuana pipe was found.
Ossian:
Friday, 1:27 a.m., north Ind. 1 at east US 224, Ossian. Deer in roadway.
ACCIDENTS
City:
Thursday, 12:55 p.m., Forest Glen Court at Oak Forest Drive. Michael L. Carroll, 80, Ossian was driving a 2012 Buick Lacrosse east on Oak Forest Drive and struck a large stone pile partially in the roadway. Damage was under $1,000.
County:
Thursday, 6:35 a.m., Ind. 1 in Nottingham Township. Thomas E. Jones, 60, Berne was driving a red Ford Fusion when two dogs entered the roadway from the west side. Jones was unable to avoid hitting one of the dogs and both ran away. Owner was located. Damage exceeded $2,500.
Thursday, 9:15 p.m., 700E near 500N, Craigville. Bobby J. Stewart, 57, of Richmond was driving a 2007 Saturn Ion northbound on 700E and steered his vehicle to avoid road crews working and did not see any other vehicles due to dusty conditions. As Stewart steered into the southbound lane, he struck a 2007 International SF625 grain truck driven by Steavan G. Heckman, 54, Bluffton. Damage exceeded $1,000.
FIRES
Thursday, 6:48 p.m., 10380N 400W, Markle. Pile of wood near a barn caught fire. Markle Fire Department responded. Fire under control at 7:05 p.m.
Friday, 4:21 a.m., Ossian Health and Rehabilitation. Smell of smoke found in the building. Ossian Fire Department responded. Smell determined to come from dust burning on a heater.
ARRESTS
Alexis Ann Wurt, 21, Fort Wayne; battery on a person less than 14 years old, a Level 5 felony, and theft, a Level 6 felony. Bond set at $5,000.
Lindsey Nicole Lee, 24, Bluffton; possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor. Bond set at $5,500.
