Norwell’s boys’ golf team shot a 337 at Cross Creek on Tuesday to place second in the Bi-County meet.
Only Bellmont performed better, shooting a 317 to finish as the champion. The Braves were led by Owen Minnick, who shot a 76 to finish as medalist of the match.
Bluffton shot a 358 to place third, followed by Adams Central at 381, South Adams at 403, and Southern Wells at 412.
Norwell was led by Augie Mann, who shot a 76. He was followed on the Knights by Ethan Ottinger at 85, Kaden Graft and Derek Smith at 88, and Daniel Simerman at 97.
Ephraim Frauhiger shot an 84 to lead the Tigers. Following him on the team were Keegan Schwartz at 86, Kade Abbett at 91, Alec Reiff at 97, and Connor Klopfenstein at 107.
James Foss shot an 84 to finish as Southern Wells’ top performer. Rounding out the Raiders were Gabe McElhaney at 96, and Archer Jones and Clay Smith each at 116.
All three of the Wells County schools will be back in action on Friday morning at Timber Ridge Golf Course for the sectional match.
