The June meeting of the Jefferson Township Homemakers Club was called to order by Sharon Jump, as Mary Ann Ripperger was attending the Home and Family Conference. Charlotte Steffen and Judy Schindler served as the hostess and co-hostess.
The thought of the month is “Cooperation is spelled with 2 letters “WE.” The inspiration was given by Schindler reading “Another Chance” as authored by Gladys Atkins.

Roll call was answered by 13 ladies answering to “What bird gives you joy?” The hummingbird was the most popular.
A club collection was taken by giving 40 cents for the word “America.” A voluntary collection was taken for Coins for Friendship/Nickels for Leadership.
