Is it ever going to quit raining and get to summer weather? Our teams are waiting to get on the Lions Balldiamond as, just maybe this week, they will be able to. I only have one game scheduled on Tuesday, May 3, when the Midwest Aces 13U takes on Columbia City at 6 p.m. They will also be practicing Wednesday and Thursday. Come on over and enjoy watching.

The Lions Club is struggling to get some things back to order after the several vandalisms we have had. We are still looking for a cheap vanity as the vandals destroyed the one in the men’s pavilion restroom. The Aces teams and their coaches and volunteers will be trying to get the remainder of the damage done before games begin as they may have lots of rainouts to catch up on.
Coming up soon: The Zanesville Lions 5K and Fun Run for all ages will be held on Saturday, May 28. If you have been in this run before your letters will arrive this week. There should be an entry on the Lions Facebook page also.
Before we know it it will be time for our 4th Annual Festival. This year the festival will be Saturday, July 30. The Lions will be around soon to ask for sponsorships to these very important fundraisers that make it possible for our club to keep the Zanesville Lions Community Park and Balldiamond open.
