Southern Wells’ baseball team won 8-5 in Friday’s game at Whitko.
The Raiders (6-13) struck first with four runs in the second and led 6-4 after four innings. They got on the board again in the seventh inning with two insurance runs to push their lead to four runs. Whitko managed just one run in the bottom of the seventh, falling short of a comeback.
Southern Wells will wrap up its regular season on Monday with a road game at Blackford.
