INCIDENTS

Friday, 12:46 a.m., Lancaster Senior Villas, 1800 S. Wayne St. Caller reported hearing someone rapping on the windows of her apartment. Officer checked the area but saw no one.
Friday, 9:15 a.m., Lancaster Estates mobile home park, 1211 W. Lancaster St. Officer requested to remove a contractor from a mobile home who had made comments about stealing property from the person whose mobile home he was working on.

Thursday, 12:59 p.m., Southern Wells Schools, 9120S-300W. Deputy requested on a report of a student making threatening statements.
Thursday, 2:22 p.m., 700N at Meridian Road. Report of calves in the road creating a traffic hazard. Deputy responded. Owner of the calves was out rounding them up when the deputy arrived.
FIRE RUNS
Thursday, 10:03 p.m., chemical smell in the area of 500W and U.S. 224. Markle Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies dispatched, but no chemical odor could be detected.
ARRESTS
Dalton James Dowell, 27, Bluffton; battery, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $3,000.
Jared Joe West, 34, Ossian; battery and disorderly conduct, both Class B misdemeanors. Bond set at $4,000.
Skyler David Patterson, 27, Fort Wayne; battery, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond set at $3,000.
