INCIDENTS

Ossian:

Thursday, 7 p.m., Ossian All American Deli, 404 N. Jefferson St. Someone drove away without paying for $9.19 in gas. At 6:18 p.m. Friday, an Ossian police officer spotted a vehicle that matched the photos of the vehicle from the Deli’s surveillance camera system. The officer spoke with the man driving the car who insisted he was the only one who drives the vehicle and that he had paid for the gas. He was told to contact the Deli staff.

Friday, 12:51 p.m., Hillcrest U-Stor, 1700 Hillcrest Drive. Catalytic converter cut off a 1997 Holiday Rambler recreational vehicle.

Friday, 8 p.m., residence in the 609 N. Jefferson St. Ossian police received a report that a very tall camper had snagged a cable television line and pulled it down. Ossian police located the broken line and the camper and spoke with the driver, identified as Andrew Thompson of Ossian.

Saturday, 2:18 a.m., Ossian Health & Rehabilitation, 215 Davis Road. Officer requested to assist in removing a dismissed employee from the business. The officer spoke with the employee and walked her out the back door of the facility.

Saturday, 12:16 p.m., 413 Meadow Lane, Rose Ann Heights addition. Someone drove past the residence in a sport utility vehicle and the side view mirror of the vehicle clipped the mailbox at the residence. The vehicle continued on without stopping.
