Mackinzie Toliver and Annabelle Johnson of Norwell’s girls’ tennis team finished as doubles sectinal runner-up after a 2-1 loss to Bishop Dwenger in the final match.
Norwell’s duo lost to the Saints 2-6, 6-3, 4-6.
They reached the championship match with a 6-3, 6-2 over Huntington North.
Toliver and Johnson scored the Lady Knights’ only point at their team’s regional match against Homestead to advance in the doubles tournament.
Toliver and Johnson helped lead the Knights to a sectional championship in the previous week and also were named NE8 first team in doubles.
