Norwell’s girls’ tennis team won 5-0 in a home match against Huntington North on Wednesday.

The win secured the NE8 Conference championship for the Lady Knights (14-1), who went a perfect 7-0 against conference opponents. 

Aubreyan Heyerly defeated Mallory Kline 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles. McKenna McNabb defeated Kelsie Ludeman 6-0, 6-0 in No. 2 singles. Addy Heyerly defeated Kylee Burnau 6-2, 6-1 in No. 3 singles. 

Annabelle Johnson and Mackinzie Toliver defeated Morgan Betterly and Avery Bonewitz 7-6(2), 6-2 in No. 1 doubles. Jordyn Xayyachack and Sofia Fernandez defeated Hannah Sxelis and Gabby Leichty 6-1, 6-2 in No. 2 doubles.

Norwell won the JV match 6-2. 

Gracie Rinkenberger won No. 2 singles 8-2. Isabel Isch won No. 4 singles 6-4. Ella Krug and Becky Sicchiero won No. 1 doubles 8-2. Ciera Hiester and Lisa Beckman won No. 2 doubles 8-0. Emma Roembke and Marlee Wenger won No. 3 doubles 6-2. Renee Fraze and Taylor Werling won No. 4 doubles 6-0. 

Norwell will host Bluffton on Friday in its final regular season match.
